On Saturday 22nd June, 5 Juniors travelled to the sprint circuit at Curborough near Litchfield, Staffordshire. In the U8 girls Elise Storey had a fantastic race, almost catching the girl in 5th. A super 6th place for the 6 year old.

Sam Abbott was the sole representative in the U12 boys race and what a fantastic race he had! He held on to the lead group all the race and at times set the pace. His 5th place was well deserved.

3 boys raced in the U14s and thankfully all 3 escaped being caught up in the nasty crash which left 2 riders unable to continue. Oscar Martin timed his final sprint superbly, crossing the line in 6th. Matthew Jordan, whose efforts earlier in the race took their toll, finished 10th while Joshua Darlow maintained a fast pace throughout the erratic race finishing 20th.
